چکیده

This correspondence paper studies a network integrated sensing and communication (ISAC) system that unifies the interference channel for distributed radar sensing. In this system, set of ISAC transmitters send individual messages to their respective users (CUs), at same time cooperate with multiple receivers estimate location one target. We exploit coordinated power control among minimize total transmit while ensuring minimum signal-to-interference-plus-noise ratio (SINR) constraints CUs maximum Cramér-Rao lower bound (CRLB) requirement target estimation. Although formulated problem is non-convex difficult solve in general, we propose two efficient algorithms obtain high-quality solutions based on semi-definite relaxation (SDR) CRLB approximation, respectively. Numerical results show proposed designs achieve substantial performance gains terms reduction, as compared benchmark heuristic separate communication-sensing design.

Integrated Coordinated Optimization Control of Automatic Generation Control and Automatic Voltage Control in Regional Power Grids

Automatic Generation Control (AGC) and Automatic Voltage Control (AVC) are key approaches to frequency and voltage regulation in power systems. However, based on the assumption of decoupling of active and reactive power control, the existing AGC and AVC systems work independently without any coordination. In this paper, a concept and method of hybrid control is introduced to set up an Integrate...

A Coordinated Control Scheme for Improving Voltage Quality Using Power Electronics Interfaced DGs

Recently, increasing of non-linear loads in the power distribution network has been increased harmonics in these networks. The harmonics problems get worse and complicated by installation of power factor correction capacitors and filters. But the Distributed Generations (DGs) interface inverters with properly control can help to improve power quality, harmonic compensation and voltage unbalance...

Network Efficient Power Control for Wireless Communication Systems

We introduce a two-loop power control that allows an efficient use of the overall power resources for commercial wireless networks based on cross-layer optimization. This approach maximizes the network's utility in the outer-loop as a function of the averaged signal to interference-plus-noise ratio (SINR) by considering adaptively the changes in the network characteristics. For this purpose, th...

Coordinated Intelligent Power Management and the Heterogeneous Sensing Coverage Problem

One of the most important factors to be considered when developing an application for a Wireless Sensor Network (WSN) is its power consumption. Intelligent Power Management (IPM) for a WSN is crucial in maximising the operational longevity. An established regime for achieving this is through the opportunistic hibernation of redundant nodes. Redundancy, however, has various definitions within th...
